Good evening, Falcons! Our first games of the season occur tomorrow, 9/10/2026 as our volleyball and basketball teams take on the Stanaford Huskies at Stanaford. Games begin at 6pm. Go Falcons! Admission is $4 or $2 for students through 5th grade. To be a school volunteer at FES you must attend volunteer training. We have two opportunities remaining: 9/11/2026 at 9am or 9/14/2026 at 4pm. Students begin taking the fall iReady benchmark assessment on 9/14/2026. Our fundraiser ends 9/14/2026. All orders and money must be turned in by 3pm on 9/14/2026. Run club also begins 9/14/2026 for students in grades 3-5. Please see the attached picture for details. Students can purchase popsicles at school on Fridays for $1 beginning 9/18/2026. Sports pictures will be taken 9/22/2026. Have a great evening!

Our fall fundraiser has kicked off and runs through 9/14/2026, when all orders and payment must be turned in. Funds raised will be used to purchase incentives for students and classroom needs. All students will be able to attend the mega party. Students who sell a dozen or more items will attend the mega party for an extended time period. Good afternoon, Falcons! As we finish out our first day of school I wanted to share information with you:
1. Busses 214 and 506 have merged this year and both will be riding bus 533. We advise being at the bus ten minutes earlier than normal for the first week until the new route has been adjusted with PK and pickup times.
2. CERP trainings for one parent per student and students who wish to participate in sports can be attended for Fairdale families at two more sessions. Those sessions will be held 8:30am on 8/28/2026 and 2pm on 8/31/2026. You only need to attend one session and both are held in the FES cafeteria. Students may not participate in tryouts without having this completed.
3. Please review the attached photos for volleyball and cheer tryout information. Basketball tryouts will be held 3:15pm-4:45pm on 8/31/2026 (students must have a note to stay after school on that day for tryouts). The second day of basketball tryouts will be on 9/1/2026 6:15-7:45pm.
4. If you would like to be a school volunteer at FES, you need to attend training. We have two more sessions remaining to choose from this semester. You can attend Friday, 9/11/2026 at 9am or Monday, 9/14/2026 at 4pm. Both sessions will be held in the cafeteria at FES.
5. PK orientation will be held 8/28/2026 at 9am.

Hello Fairdale Elementary Families! I wanted to share some important information with you for the upcoming 2026-27 school year.
Open House at FES will be held Monday, August 24th, 3pm-5pm. Students whose last names begin with A-L will enter the school's front, main entrance with their families. Students whose last names begin with M-Z will enter the school's gym entrance with their families. Meet your teacher, visit your classroom, and visit several stations we will have set up with both fun and informative activities for our Falcon students and families.
CERP training is required for any students and one parent in grades 3-5 who are interested in trying out for sports at FES. Students and families who have not had CERP training will not be able to try out for sports. We have 3 opportunities for you to attend CERP training at FES. Please choose the one that is most convenient for you. CERP trainings are scheduled as follows: August 24th at 3:30pm, August 28th at 8:30am, August 31st at 2pm. Sports tryouts begin August 31st, and more information will be shared as it becomes available.
Volunteer training is required for anyone who wishes to be a school volunteer throughout the year at FES. There will be 3 volunteer trainings at the beginning of the 1st semester and 1 volunteer training at the beginning of 2nd semester. Please plan to attend one of the following volunteer trainings if you wish to participate: August 24th at 4:15pm, September 11th at 9am, or September 14th at 4pm.
Pre-K orientation for our youngest Falcons will be held Friday, August 28th at 9am.
K-5 first day of school will be August 26th. If you decide to drive your student to school, join the drop-off line at the school's front entrance. Parent drop-off begins at 7:50am. Staff re-enter the building at 8:15am, so have your students dropped off by that time. Students must be in classrooms by 8:20am to avoid being counted absent/tardy.
