Math and Literature Summer Camp has come to an end at Fairdale Elementary. Many thanks to the staff who poured their time into enriching our students from several local elementary schools, including Fairdale, Ridgeview, Clear Fork, Marsh Fork, Crescent, Hollywood and Coal City. We would also like to thank those from our community who took time to add to the lessons taught, including our local beekeeper, meteorologist, fire department, restaurant, families and volunteers. Our students were very blessed with a three-week supply of learning and enhancing their reading and math skills.

Fairdale also welcomes Mrs. Blankenship to our staff! Read her bio here!
Hello! My name is Allison Blankenship, and I am excited to teach fifth grade math and science this year!
I am proud to call this community home, where I live with my husband, Chris, and our three children, Bryson, Rylee, and Isaiah. I enjoy serving in our church, napping, and coaching volleyball.
I earned my bachelor’s degree in Child Development and Family Studies from West Virginia University and my master’s degree in Elementary Education. This is my 15th year teaching, and I look forward to another year of learning and growth!
I believe learning should be engaging, challenging, and fun. I can’t wait to explore new ideas, overcome challenges, and create wonderful memories with my students this year.
