Falcons have spent the past two days learning with the help of the WVSU Star Lab!
And they are off... our 5th graders are stepping up to THMS!

Due to forecasted weather, the 4th grade field trip has been cancelled for Friday, 5/22/2026. Further details will be shared with 4th grade parents, regarding rescheduling, as soon as they become available.

PK students do not attend school on Friday, 5/22/2026. PK and K registration/document day will be 5/22/2026, 9am-1pm.
We still have a few yearbooks for sale in the school office if you would like to stop by and purchase one.
Just a reminder, parent drop-off is from 7:50-8:20am. At 8:20, staff are expected to report to their classrooms, as instruction time begins promptly at 8:20. Should you arrive with your student after staff has entered the building, park, and come inside to sign your child in as the student is now tardy.
Lastly, if you wish to add a student to the birthday board for summer months, the deadline is June 1, 2026. The cost is $10.
Attached are flyers to sign up for both summer camp and energy express at FES. We are fortunate to have both programs at our school for this summer! Sign up deadlines are May 22, 2026. Summer camp is both literature and math-based. Sign up with the QR code below and prevent the summer slide! Friday, 5/15/2026 there will be no PK.

Part 2 of a fun, testing-prep week! Our Falcons are ready to take on the WVGSA!
Staff and students participated in a testing pep rally this week! Staff also participated in a contest and an underground dress up week, pepping kids up for testing. It was a great week to be a Falcon!
