Do you have a picky eater that would still benefit from a no cost school meals? Let us help! You pack their favorites and we'll provide the rest for free! Students need to take 3 components to create a "meal".

Attached are flyers to sign up for both summer camp and energy express at FES. We are fortunate to have both programs at our school for this summer! Sign up deadlines are May 22, 2026. Summer camp is both literature and math-based. Sign up with the QR code below and prevent the summer slide! Friday, 5/15/2026 there will be no PK.

Part 2... Several students were recognized today for their recent iReady scores! Awards today were given for the following: 1. Highest end-of-year score for Math per grade level 2. Highest end-of-year score for Reading per grade level 3. Most growth from beginning to end of Year in Math 4. Most growth from Beginning to end of year in Reading Congrats! These students get to enjoy a complimentary meal from Outback!

Part 2 of a fun, testing-prep week! Our Falcons are ready to take on the WVGSA!

Staff and students participated in a testing pep rally this week! Staff also participated in a contest and an underground dress up week, pepping kids up for testing. It was a great week to be a Falcon!

Staff at Fairdale Elementary received their years of service pins and certificates today from Raleigh County Schools! Congratulations to the following: Tara Vass, five years Judy Daniel, twenty-five years Rebecca Russell, thirty-five years Jessica Dunbar, five years Julie Blankenship, fifteen years We are so thankful each of these ladies are Falcons!

Many thanks to all who contributed to all of our staff at Fairdale for teacher appreciation week! This includes our students, parent volunteers, Giovanni's, Chris and Molly Toney and Breckenridge Church! We are so thankful for your thoughtfulness!

Attention 3rd grade families:

Schedule change for some of our 3rd grade testing...

As you may know, Fairdale FWB Church supports our school throughout the year in a wonderful, much-needed ministry of providing weekend snack packs. I also want to thank Pastor Dean Adams, pictured here with some of his congregation that are Falcons. Pastor Adams made the early trek to Fairdale for the National Day of Prayer this morning, praying with anyone who chose to do so before we began our school day. Thank you for caring for the Falcons!

5th grade graduation information

Fairdale Elementary has been chosen to host summer literature and math camps this year for Raleigh County students. Please see the attached flyer for additional information! Transportation and meals provided, as well as helping to prevent the summer slide! This opportunity is available for students in K-5 during the 2025/26 school year!
